Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT
Event Description:

The Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce's Sustainability and Resilience Committee, the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, Biscayne Bay Foundation and the Rotary Clubs of Coconut Grove and Brickell Present Bayside Park's Cleanup on Saturday,   October 14th.
This is part of the International Coastal Cleanup event that happens once a year!

JOIN THE MOVEMENT!  whether you come alone, with a group of friends, as a class of students or as families help make a difference and make our planet a cleaner and safer place for all species.  Whether you are a non-profit group or a local family, you  can play a role in cleaning up the environment.  The trash in or along the shorelines of Biscayne Bay is becoming a serious pollution problem that affects the health of people, wildlife, and the local economy.

The site is suitable for all ages.  Volunteers 15 years and under will need to be accompanied by an adult.  If a volunteer is 18 years or younger, and unaccompanied by a parent or guardian, you must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Garbage bags, data collection cards, community service hours certificates and a giveaway goodie bag will be provided.  We will also have medical grade latex gloves donated by our very own Coconut Grove Sharp Dentistry.
